Dementia theerapy with Indeloxazine Hel-Ⅱ

Abstract
|
|
|
From June to September 1989 total 21 dementia cases, visited our department, were terated with Indeloxazine 20mg tid oral daily for 1-3, 5 months.
The results are as follows
1. Seven case did not respond to final assessment of the drug efficacy.
2. Ages are mostly 50 to 70. The cases are consisted of Brain atrphy 11 cases, Brain .,trophy with Parkinsonism I case and Cerebral infarction 2 cases.
3. Improvement of psychiatric symptoms was seen in 84.6%, especially in volition, memorycalculation and emotion. Improvement in neurologic symptoms was seen in 77.8%.
4. Improvement in mental state was seen in 92.9%, moderate improvement in 21.4%. 1 I.Q. in previous paper was wrong, it was mental state).
5. Overall effect of the drug : more than slight improvement 92.9%, moderate 50%.
6. Efficacy of the drug : more than slight 92.9%, moderate 57.1%.
7. There was no side effect except in 1 case, where neutral fat was increased from 289
to 335 after 3 months treatment, without its clinical symptoms.
